The Parish Vestry meeting will be held on 9 February after the 9.15 service. Part of the vestry will include voting in a new Parish Council, so please consider candidates and fill in the nomination forms at the back of the church.

The post of parish administrator will be available as of 1 March. Send all CVs to the Parish office by 15 February.  Suitable candidates must be Anglican and preferably belong to the Christ Church Parish.

Father Trevor Pearce of Growing the Church will be visiting Christ Church Arcadia on 15 and 16 February 2014!

• 15 February: Father Trevor will lead a workshop from 9.00 to 13.00 where he will speak biblically and generally about the need for the Church to be missional in its approach and to grow the Kingdom of God.  He will also discuss:

* The work of Growing the Church

* Anglicans Ablaze

* Resources for growing churches, including the Alpha and other discipleship courses, as well as family programmes, such as Messy Church and Godly Play

• 16 February: Father Trevor will preach at both services on “The power of unity and vision—the congregation unleashing God’s power when united behind a common (Provincial) vision.”

The Sunday School teachers are holding a Meet and Greet for all parents and children, whether members of the Sunday School or new to the church.

When? Saturday 8 February

Time? 18.00 to 19.30

While the teachers share their plans and teaching ideas for the year with the parents, there will be organised games for the children.
