At our morning prayer and Eucharist we commemorated Elizabeth Paul.

The collect set for today:

Almighty God, you anointed your servant Elizabeth Paul for the ministry of healing;

Fill your church with your Holy Spirit that we be faithful ministers of the wholeness which is ours in your Son Jesus Christ’

Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit; one God now and forever. Amen

Readings set for today: Prov 31: 10 – 31, Ps 127, Rom 12: 9 – 21, Luke 14: 7 – 14. You may want to read James 5@ 13 – 18.
