Combined Choral Evensong with the choir of St. George’s Parktown
This coming Sunday, 4 November 2012, the combined choirs of St George's Parktown and Christ Church will sing a special evensong at 6PM in celebration of the ic furosemide 40 mg Feast of doxycycline All Saints. The music includes Holst's God augmentin 875 be in my Head, Bainton's And I saw a new heaven and the setting of the evening canticles in D major by Dyson. This will be a service of great celebration for this important feast. Christ Church is located at 820 Pretorius Street, Arcadia, Pretoria. Requiem for All Souls Day
On Friday 2 November 2012, Christ Church will present a special Requiem Mass to commemorate All Souls Day. This very special service is an opportunity to celebrate the memory of loved ones who have gone before us in to the everlasting light of God’s presence.
The setting this year is the well-loved Requiem by Gabriel Faure for choir, soloists and chamber orchestra. Please notify your friends of this moving service of remembrance and thanksgiving.
If you would like the names of loved ones to be read out during the service, please contact the parish office, or add the names of your loved ones to the list currently available at the back of the church.
The service begins at 7PM and all are welcome to attend. There will be guarded parking available on the church close and on Pretorius Street.

Special Vestry Meeting this Sunday
There will be a special vestry meeting directly after the 9:15 AM Choral Eucharist this coming Sunday, 14 October 2012.
The meeting will discuss the parish budget for 2013, and elections for church wardens for 2013 will also be conducted during the meeting.
All parishioners are encouraged to attend this very important meeting.

Summer Choral Evensong series starting this Sunday
Starting this Sunday, 7 October 2012, and for the remainder of the year, our monthly Choral Evensong service will begin at 6PM, as is usual during the summer months.
The music for Sunday's service will include the Short Service by Orlando Gibbons.
Vestry Meeting Postponed
The special vestry meeting which was originally set for this Sunday, 7 October 2012, has been postponed by one week. The meeting will now take place on 14 October, directly after the 9:15 Choral Eucharist.
This agenda for the meeting includes the election of new church wardens for 2013, and also the 2013 budget.
All parishioners are encouraged to attend.
